Dr. Michelle coaches women who sense that something isn’t right in their lives—physically or mentally. After more than a decade as a practicing rheumatologist caring for 3,000+ patients—and following personal and family illness and tradegy—she discovered that lasting change comes from the inside: a bodymind approach rooted in timeless wisdom and lived experience, not onesizefitsall fixes.

 

Dr. Michelle combines clinical knowhow with practical, compassionate coaching in nervoussystem regulation, diet, movement, sleep and mindset so clients can reclaim calm, clarity and resilient health. She lives in beautiful Penticton, British Columbia with her husband Winston and their three children.

My Story

I’m a former physician who spent years caring for thousands of patients. I witnessed the best of medicine — the right prescriptions, carefully chosen tests, and sincere clinical care — and I also saw its limits. Many people improved some, but not enough. Time and again I watched life patterns, habits, and unaddressed inner wounds quietly erode health and keep people from thriving.

 

Everything changed when life’s challenges came closer to home: my mother, my daughter, and eventually myself. During that difficult period I discovered something simple and profound — the power to heal was within me. I had to learn to look at my life through a new lens. I began to see how past experiences, longstanding habits, and stress were shrinking me, steering my choices, and undermining my wellbeing.

 

That realization became my turning point: our choices — the small daily decisions about how we care for ourselves, how we respond to stress, and how we relate to others — hold enormous power over mind and body. When I stopped waiting for an external fix and started working from the inside out, doors opened. Hope returned. I felt grounded and energized in a way I hadn’t believed possible.

 

I am dedicated to helping others reclaim that same agency. Drawing on clinical experience and my own personal journey, I now bring a bodymindspirit approach that is practical, individualized, and deeply humane. I help people calm their nervous systems, build sustainable daily habits, and relearn what safety and selfcare feel like — so their lives widen, not narrow.
